Laraway Shelters and Adopters
Corliss Camp"Corliss Camp" is a frame camp with bunk space and loft area for 14. This shelter was built in 1989 by Peter Hayden and Laraway Section volunteers, and is named after Robert Corliss of St. Albans who was an active section member. Water is located in a brook 350 feet north-east from the camp. The brook is a reliable source during dry periods.

Roundtop Shelter
"Roundtop Shelter" is a log shelter with space for 10. It was built in 1994 by Todd and Wendy Jenner, the Laraway Section, and other GMC volunteers. This shelter is dedicated to Todd's brother Jeff. Logs were cut on Roundtop and skidded to the site the previous winter. The water source is a hand pump located 450 feet North of the shelter. This water source may run dry during drought conditions. Roundtop has a nice view of the Plot Road Valley viewed from the West side of the shelter.

Spruce Ledge Camp
"Spruce Ledge Camp" is a frame camp with bunk space for 8. It was built by Gil Patnoe and Cheryl Vreeland, the Laraway Section, and other GMC volunteers in 1998. The camp is dedicated to Don Hill, an inspiring trail and shelter maintaniner through northern Vermont. A short walk from the camp to Devil's Perch rewards views of Ritterbush Pond and Belvidere Mountain to the north. A reliable water source is located at the spur trail to SLC and another source is 250 feet from the camp.
